Pediatric Dentist Opportunity (4 or 5 days/week) - Reno, NV

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to provide high-quality dental care. The ideal candidate is dedicated to creating a positive patient experience, promoting oral health education, and delivering comprehensive clinical care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. There is a daily guarantee for the first six months.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive and restorative dental care for pediatric patients, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions specific to children, including early childhood caries and developmental concerns
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Administer behavior management techniques to ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience
• Utilize sedation or anesthesia when appropriate (based on training and certification)
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry and comply with all regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
• Active state dental license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with behavior management and special needs patients
• Proficiency in sedation dentistry (oral or IV, if applicable)
