Responsibilities: P ediatrix Medical Group is seeking an additional Newborn Pediatric Hospitalist to join our established pediatric hospitalist team at Renown Regional Medical Center- Renown Children's Hospital in Reno, Nevada. The Practice Work alongside our Pediatrix affiliated pediatric intensivists, hospitalists and neonatologists Dedicated newborn nursing staff trained in transitional, newborn and couplet care Certified Lactation Specialist support 365 days/year 58-Bed Level 3 NICU with 24/7 in house Neonatology coverage Neonatologists/NICU team cover overnight emergences in the newborn nursery Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support , including pediatric surgery Academic affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine Clinical responsibilities include: Newborn nursery examinations Circumcisions Pediatric resident and medical student education (No delivery attendance required) This position offers the opportunity to practice high quality newborn hospital medicine within a collaborative, well supported environment that reflects Pediatrix s commitment to clinical excellence and patient centered care.
