Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)Shift Information:Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMHoliday Coverage Required: YesMinimum Years of Experience: 3 YearsCertifications/Requirements:ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support/Basic Cardiac Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)Epic EMR proficiency is requiredTNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) are strongly preferred but not requiredJob Description:The Emergency Department (ED) is recognized as a Level III Trauma Center with 38 beds, including 2 trauma bays, and ranks among the top 10 busiest emergency departments in the region. This position involves working 36 hours per week on the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with expectations of working every other weekend and participating in a holiday rotation. Requests for excessive time off around holidays will not be accommodated. The role does not typically require taking on-call duty, and such requests should be rare. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 completed ED assignments and/or 3 years of recent and relevant ED experience.
