Responsibilities Be the subject matter expert on how Higher Education institutions can leverage Salesforce Marketing solutions within their enterprise. Empower and enable the broader Account team on Salesforce Marketing technology. Collaborate with the Account and Territory team to identify target accounts. Create and drive revenue within a specified region or list of named accounts. Generate business opportunities through networking, cold‑calling, and prospecting into current Salesforce customers. Own the sales cycle for the entire Salesforce Marketing technology stack. Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas. Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation through networking, associations, and other marketing activities. Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting. Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention. Be a team player. Qualifications Proven experience as a team player in a Co‑Prime/Overlay Sales role. 5+ years of outside enterprise software sales experience. Digital Marketing sales experience, with knowledge of relevant marketing technology. Strong preference for prior experience with the full Salesforce Digital Technology Stack. Proven track record of sales excellence both as an Individual Contributor and within a team environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment. Superior professional presence and business acumen. Experience selling to C‑level executives (Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Digital Officer, etc.) is a plus. Ability to give high‑level product demonstrations and be considered the product expert in the sales cycle. Work collaboratively with solution engineering to create compelling demonstration scenarios. Effectiveness in virtual meetings and conference calls. Passion for working with Higher Education organizations. Willingness to travel as needed. Benefits Compensation range: $141,550 – $189,350 annually. In California and New York, and selected cities in Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role is $155,700 – $208,300 per year. The stated figures represent base salary only; they do not include bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or other benefits.
