Lab Assistant
Stoke Therapeutics
Stoke Therapeutics seeks a Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations in Bedford, Massachusetts, including equipment maintenance, waste management, inventory control, and facility coordination. The role requires onsite presence and reports to the Senior Director of Facilities & Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Support lab environment by ensuring proper functioning of utilities, equipment, and life safety systems
- Perform facility and safety inspections including waste consolidation and disposal compliance
- Maintain lab inventory, prepare supply orders, and manage stock of reagents and materials
- Manage shipping, receiving, and documentation of laboratory materials and samples
- Coordinate with vendors on facilities administration and perform routine safety equipment inspections
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of laboratory environment experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience improving scientific workflows
- Proficiency multitasking in fast-paced environments
