Staff Accountant

About the Role A growing financial services firm is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations and reporting functions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team in a client-focused, high-integrity environment. Title: Junior Accountant/Staff Accountant Potential Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 base + Bonus Key Responsibilities Support general ledger activities, including cash management, bill pay, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close processes Prepare monthly financial reports for individuals, operating entities, trusts, and foundations Maintain organized monthly workpaper files and supporting documentatoin Communicate regularly with clients and external partners Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including tax and advisory functions Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 2-4 years of accounting experience Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with QuickBooks is a plus What We offer: Collaborative, team-oriented culture Opportunity to work on diverse and meaningful financial engagements xposure to a broad range of accounting and reporting responsibilities Competitive compensation and benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr Smith Arnold Partners
