# Social Content CreatorFull-Time Portland, OR (hybrid, local candidates only) Pay: DOE Do you live and breathe iPhone-style videos? If so, we should talk.Our digital marketing agency is looking for a Social Content Creator to create authentic, scroll-stopping content for our social media clients. This is a hands-on creator role. You'll work directly with clients to plan shoots and build shot lists, then attend production days on-site, shooting UGC-style video and editing it into content that actually performs on Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.We're a small agency, so this position comes with a tremendous amount of responsibility and opportunity for growth. We're looking for a driven, independent self-starter who's comfortable behind the camera, in front of it when needed, and fast in the edit.One important note: this role involves regular on-site shoots at client locations around the Portland metro area, so you must live in or near Portland, Oregon. This is not a remote position, and we can't consider candidates outside the area.## Expertise & Experience* Based in the Portland, OR metro area (required, this is a hybrid role with regular on-site client shoots, not a remote position)* 1-2 years of experience creating UGC or short-form social content (professionally or for your own accounts)* A portfolio or account showing UGC-style content you've shot and edited* Experience shooting with a smartphone and knowing what makes content feel native to each platform* Ability to source inspiration and build shot lists for upcoming shoots* High level of comfort being on-camera for a variety of clients in different industries* Proficiency in mobile and desktop editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)* Deep familiarity with Instagram Reels and TikTok, including trends, sounds, hooks, and formats (extra points for experience with Pinterest and YouTube Shorts)* Experience creating content for multiple brands/accounts* Comfortable directing on-camera talent, including business owners and staff who aren't natural performers* Copywriting for captions and hooks* Knowledge of project management tools* Knowledge of productivity software (Google Docs, Google Sheets)## Responsibilities* Travel to client locations to shoot UGC-style video content* Create content ad-hoc at home or in the Sproutbox studio for last-minute requests* Handle pre-production for shoots in advance: scheduling, shot lists, trending formats, hooks, and talent needs* Edit raw footage into platform-ready content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)* Appear on camera when the content calls for it* Write captions and hooks that match each client's voice* Work closely with our social media team to align content with client strategies and calendars* Stay on top of trends, sounds, and formats across TikTok and Instagram* Track content performance and adjust creative approach based on what's working* Attend internal company meetings## Personal Skills* Self-starter who takes initiative* Comfortable and personable on client sites, able to put people at ease on camera* Strong organizational skills, especially managing footage and shoot schedules* Detail-oriented in the edit* Strong communication skills (meetings, phone calls, on-site coordination)* Natural tendency to respond quickly to emails and messages* Reliable transportation for traveling to client locations* Strives for constructive feedback* Hard worker willing to go the extra mile* Works well with small teams## How to ApplyTo apply for this position, please fill out the application form linked above with your resume and a portfolio or account showing UGC-style content you've created.
