Commercial Lender

Commercial Lender Location: McKinney, TX A community bank in the McKinney area with a strong balance sheet and a commitment to relationship banking is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to support continued growth within its commercial banking division. With a strong lending capacity, the bank is well-positioned to continue expanding its presence throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The organization has built a reputation for good company culture and a true relationship banking approach. The Commercial Lender will focus on developing new business relationships, originating commercial loans, and building a portfolio while maintaining strong credit quality and contributing to the bank’s overall growth strategy. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial lending relationships throughout the DFW market Originate commercial loans with an emphasis on being a generalist (CRE and C&I) Target lending opportunities generally ranging from $1MM to $15MM in size Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk Partner with clients to bring deposit relationships alongside lending opportunities Participate in community engagement and business development activities throughout the DFW area Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding financing needs and opportunities Be active and involved in the local business community Required Qualifications: 3+ years of commercial lending experience within a banking environment Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth Strong network and established business relationships throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market Experience originating and managing both CRE and C&I lending relationships Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting expertise Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and lending policies Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to build a loan portfolio from scratch and develop long-term client relationships Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven banking professional seeking a community oriented bank that is actively lending and committed to supporting its lenders.
