Bench ScientistLaboratories specializes in developing biologics to treat a variety of diseases, including cancers, autoimmune disorders, pain, and metabolic diseases. Encourage cooperation and support a high level of scientific freedom to find the best answers to biological questions. Seeking to hire a highly motivated and creative T cell expert with hands-on experience with preclinical autoimmune in vivo models to join the Immunology and Metabolism group.Responsibilities:Perform research in small rodent disease models including syngeneic tumors and NOD autoimmune diabetes.Perform cell culture techniques.Perform meticulous record keeping and attend group meetings.Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, deliver high quality results and manage time effectively.Technical Skills Requirements:Hands on experience and proficiency in rodent handling, necropsy and administering drugs through various routes. Small animal surgery is a plus.Knowledge of IACUC procedures and regulation.Hands on experience in general lab aseptic techniques, cell handling and maintenance and tissue culture.Strong motivation with a dedicated work ethic.Previous training or experience in immunology, oncology or drug development is a plus.Physical Position Requirements:Standing, walking, working in the lab, working with rodent animals.
