Materials Coordinator 1st Shift

Oversees the organization of products using inventory control software. Schedules order pick ups and delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Organizes and develops systematic plans for loading and unloading of trucks
• Ensures the proper labeling, tagging, packaging and receipts of products and materials by using inventory control software to record transactions
• Processes customer returns and works with other departments to resolve outstanding issues
• Schedules inbound pickups for common carriers/company trucks and directs to proper destination for delivery; Interacts with internal and external customers to expedite and follow up on orders
• Leads and coordinates cycle counting duties to investigate and resolve issues
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

• Interpersonal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity inventory control software as it relates to processing, raw materials and shipment of product
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education Requirements

• High School diploma

• Physical & Environmental Requirements
• May be required to lift or carry engines, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights. The supervisor will provide the essential physical requirements of each individual job.
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
