Work Environment

This role is an onsite position, operating effectively within the comfort of patients' homes, allowing for personalized care in a familiar environment. Our clinic emphasizes a collaborative approach among our healthcare providers. The regular work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions through detailed examinations and create tailored treatment strategies for rehabilitation.
• Implement individualized physical therapy sessions focused on restoring motion and enhancing mobility, incorporating state-of-the-art techniques.
• Maintain an organized caseload to allow for dedicated attention with the ability to adapt plans as progress is monitored.
• Utilize manual therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises to address orthopedic issues, facilitating non-surgical rehabilitation when possible.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of adhering to personalized exercise regimens and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's care plan.
• Continuously document treatment plans and patient progression using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT.
• Advocate for healthy lifestyle choices, providing guidance on strength training, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate patients during their rehabilitation process to ensure consistent effort and engagement.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment protocols and adjust therapies as necessary to optimize patient progress.

As a Physical Therapist at Med Fit, you will engage with a diverse population, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional skills in developing and executing effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, including Web PT, to manage patient documentation accurately.
• A thorough understanding of the latest physical therapy approaches enhanced by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in treating a diverse patient population, particularly in outpatient and home care settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
