Growing cable and wire manufacturer in the Cleveland OH area looking for an Applications/Sales Engineer to be the technical consultant for the company with customers on handling any product issues to help generate sales with new prospects and existing customers. Bachelors degree is required along with strong sales and technical experience in wire and cable, electronic, electrical, or similar industries. Looking for someone with a combination of both sales and technical experience to be considered. Will not just look at someone with sales experience and no technical knowledge and someone with just technical and no sales experience. Have to be able to be in front of customers and have a proven track record of growing revenue. Must have experience with ISO 9001 and be familiar with IPC-WHMA-A-620C. Wire harness technology experience preferred. Two positions are available; one for their data center market and the other for their automotive and transportation market. Candidates must be willing to travel 30-40% all over the US, Canada, and Mexico and must be willing to work in the office when not traveling.
