IT Support Specialist – Level 1 (100% On‑Site) Location: Brooklyn Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 A private high school in South Brooklyn is seeking a Level 1 IT Support Specialist to support ~450 students and 100 faculty/staff. This is a full‑time, year‑round role requiring 5 days on‑site, including summer coverage. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues; troubleshoot or escalate as needed Provide support in person and via remote tools Image, deploy, and configure laptops, desktops, and classroom technology Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and applications Manage device lifecycle (setup, repairs, replacements, inventory tracking) Support printers, copiers, and print server queues Manage users in Active Directory, Google Admin, and internal systems Assist with endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, Google Admin) Set up and support A/V equipment and livestream events (occasional after‑hours work) Document tickets, resolutions, and internal knowledge base updates Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/certifications ~2 years of IT support / help desk experience Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS Basic command line and scripting knowledge (PowerShell or shell) Basic networking/troubleshooting skills Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize and work in a fast‑paced environment Comfortable with physical work (lifting up to 40 lbs, moving between floors) Strong interest in learning and staying current with technology Nice to Have 3D printer support/maintenance experience Photography, videography, or A/V production experience #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
