About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, FP&A to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on leader, responsible for overseeing the finance function, including FP&A, financial reporting and analytics, and the business-side build-out of the finance data warehouse. This role is pivotal in ensuring finance-related compliance and providing operational finance support. The VP, FP&A will also be a key partner to the CFO, preparing executive and Board of Directors reporting, and will be involved in the modernization and evolution of the annual forecast and budget process. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' progressive finance experience, particularly in the healthcare or life sciences industry. Key responsibilities for the VP, FP&A at the company include leading the finance team, developing and maintaining financial models, and improving visibility into project and study-level profitability. The role requires advanced analytical and technical skills, with experience in SAP, Concur, Power BI, and Salesforce. The candidate should be adept at translating complex financial data into clear insights and be comfortable in a client-facing role. Strong business acumen, excellent communication, and leadership skills are essential. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to drive accountability and ensure financial data integrity across various systems.
