This position plays an important role in keeping our hotel beautiful, safe, and operating at its best by performing routine preventative maintenance and addressing general repair needs throughout the property.The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a high-quality environment, and understands the importance of providing excellent service in a luxury hotel setting.What You'll DoPerform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areasInspect guest rooms and hotel equipment to identify maintenance or repair needsComplete minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fixtures, furniture, and equipmentPerform routine maintenance such as replacing filters, light bulbs, batteries, hardware, and other componentsTouch up paint, caulking, walls, doors, and finishes as neededRespond to guest room maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerAssist with maintaining hotel equipment, mechanical areas, and back-of-house spacesComplete preventative maintenance checklists and accurately document completed workIdentify larger repair needs and communicate them to Engineering leadershipFollow all hotel safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areasPartner with other hotel departments to help ensure an exceptional experience for our guestsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferredBasic knowledge of general building maintenance and repairAbility to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independentlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityDependable, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesProfessional and courteous when interacting with guests and fellow team membersAbility to safely use hand and power toolsAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift or move items associated with maintenance workFlexibility to work a schedule based on hotel operational needs, including occasional weekends or holidaysCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
