RN - Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week for 3x12; 48 hrs/week for 4x12

Requirements
- Minimum Experience: 2 years
- Required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS (must obtain by compliance deadline)
- Clinical Experience: Post-surgical experience required
- EMR Experience: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including post-operative recovery, managing complex co-morbidities.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-surgical care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Pre-approved time off: 2 shifts
- Scrub color: Navy blue
