Role Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hubbard, OR. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying approvals, and ensuring accurate and timely payments in accordance with company policies. The Accounts Payable Specialist will reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized records of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include coding invoices to the correct accounts, preparing and posting journal entries, supporting month-end closing activities, and responding to internal and external inquiries related to payments. The role works closely with finance and accounting team members to support accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient payables processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, with experience in accounts payable processes. Candidates should possess proficiency in handling Expense Reports and related reimbursement procedures. Candidates should possess the ability to prepare and review Journal Entries (Accounting) with attention to accuracy and compliance. Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for reviewing data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting reconciliations. Proficiency in accounting or ERP software and Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and vendors. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
