Digital & Marketing Compliance Analyst

Job Summary:

The Digital & Marketing Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Regulatory Compliance function by monitoring and reviewing digital channels, marketing materials, and online banking activities to ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

This role assists in the oversight of social media activities, advertising campaigns, website content, digital account opening, and online banking platforms to mitigate compliance risk and ensure consistent adherence to regulatory expectations. The responsibilities outlined herein are not all-inclusive. The Digital & Marketing Compliance Analyst may be assigned additional tasks or responsibilities, as deemed appropriate by the Regulatory Compliance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing monitoring and review of marketing materials, advertisements, and promotions (digital and traditional) to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, fair lending, UDAAP).
• Review and monitor social media platforms and communications to ensure content aligns with regulatory expectations and internal policies.
• Perform compliance reviews of digital account opening processes, online banking platforms, and website content to ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory adherence.
• Assist in identifying and escalating potential compliance risks, violations, or control gaps related to marketing and digital channels.
• Partner with Marketing, Digital Banking, and other business units to provide compliance guidance on campaigns, product promotions, and digital initiatives prior to launch.
• Maintain tracking logs of marketing reviews, approvals, and exceptions, ensuring proper documentation and audit trail.
• Support periodic monitoring and testing of consumer compliance across digital channels.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and controls related to marketing compliance and digital activities.
• Support responses to internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews by gathering documentation and evidence.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impacts on digital banking and marketing activities.
• Prepare management summaries of monitoring results, findings, and corrective actions.
• Support training and awareness efforts on marketing compliance and digital channel use.
• Monitor/analyze customer complaints related to marketing campaigns and advertisements/promotional offers.
• Provide ongoing guidance to Marketing and Product teams on compliance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of consumer compliance regulations impacting marketing and digital banking (e.g., UDAAP, Fair Lending, CAN-SPAM Regulation DD, Regulation Z, advertising rules, GLBA – Privacy Rule & Safeguards Rule, FCRA).
• Familiarity with digital channels, including social media, websites, mobile banking, and online account opening platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify compliance risks and trends.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear compliance guidance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines concurrently.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education & Experience

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Compliance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in consumer compliance, regulatory compliance, or compliance monitoring, preferably within a financial institution.
• Experience reviewing marketing materials, digital banking platforms, or social media activity in a regulated environment strongly preferred.

Languages English. Plus – Spanish - Portuguese.
