Inside Sales Development Account Manager

Inside Sales Development Account Manager at a global CRO supporting business development through prospect sourcing, lead qualification, and appointment setting across multiple U.S. territories. Responsible for pipeline development, territory management, and driving new customer acquisition alongside sales partners.
Responsibilities
- Source new opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound prospecting targeting A and B accounts
- Engage prospects via calls, email, and social channels to build rapport and identify needs
- Qualify leads and set appointments for business development partners
- Build and maintain target account database and opportunity funnel within assigned territories
- Track activity in Salesforce and sales automation tools; meet quarterly meetings and RFP targets
Requirements
- CRO or similar industry experience required
- Minimum 2 years inside sales or sales development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
- Proficiency with Salesforce, CRM, and sales automation tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage time effectively
- CRO/pharmaceutical industry knowledge and clinical research phases preferred
Compensation: $50,500.00 - $100,000.00 annually
