Trauma Surgery NP Locums Job in Michigan 12 Hour Shifts Beginning June - Ongoing Assignment Coverage Dates (ongoing): 6/23-6/28 7/6-7/12 7/20-7/26 8/3-8/9 8/17-8/23 8/31-9/6 9/14-9/20 9/28-10/5 Shift Description 6 PM - 6 AM coverage, 7on 7 off ongoing Inpatient, no call Requirements Active Michigan license + DEA AHA ACLS, ATLS Required Procedures / Skills Ability to treat patients of all ages Assignment Details Manage inpatient admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery and urology Respond to level I and level II trauma activations, perform admissions/H&P/Consults Acting as hospital wide first call for all inpatient surgical services (general surgery, trauma, ortho, urology, colorectal) Proficient in suturing, central lines, art lines, and tube placement Evaluate general surgical & trauma consults/admissions and discuss with on call general surgeon Board any surgical cases Urology admissions/consults/board cases for surgery Troubleshoot foley catheters/troubleshoot continuous bladder irrigation/assist with set up for bedside procedure if surgeon is needed Proctoring- Minimum 5 per procedure The Jackson and Coker Advantage: Join a team that prioritizes your peace of mind so you can focus on patient care.
