LAB Support Technician

Overview Data Center Lab Administrator / Support Analyst. This onsite role primarily works from an HPE office in Fort Collins. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is the global edge-to-cloud company delivering data and applications insights from edge to cloud. Key Responsibilities Manage supply chain processes including inventory analysis, order fulfillment, import/export operations and shipping for the Telco Global Business Unit. Enter purchase orders (POs) using HPE internal and external PO systems; provide periodic status reports on open orders and maintain historical data. Acquire and apply knowledge of HPE PO and Order Status systems to perform PO management, receipt of goods, and assist in vendor invoice reconciliation. Coordinate with the HPE Security team to implement required procedures and document exceptions to satisfy customer and HPE security compliance. Receive purchased goods into the inventory management system and arrange physical delivery to designated Fort Collins personnel or storage locations. Coordinate shipping of purchased goods to HPE, customer, or partner locations (domestic and international). Create shipping documents (ROSAs, etc.) for international and domestic shipments to HPE and customers/partners. Obtain Global Trade mandated product identification information (CTO) using Global Trade systems for internationally shipped systems; create special international shipping documentation as required for certain countries. Perform Telco Lab Operations activities regularly and produce reports using IT systems; analyze data to develop trend reports. Review performance metrics regularly and identify opportunities for improvement; research and analyze priority projects within established guidelines. Education and Experience First-level university degree or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain or operational function. Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge of supply chain processes, including inventory management principles. Understanding of computer equipment shipping principles and secure handling. Knowledge of international shipping (IOR, ultimate consignee, etc.). Ability to perform basic IT infrastructure tasks (server installation, network cabling, hardware and network layout documentation). Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 45 lbs) and use a pallet jack. Strong communication, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and other analytical tools; strong analytical and interpersonal skills; developing project management and leadership abilities.
