Digital Transformation Project Manager

Join the Knowledge Advancement and Insights (KAI) team to drive digital transformation and support organizational change management at a large biotech pharmaceutical leader. As a contractor, you will lead project management activities for a new digital application, shaping assets that accelerate the adoption of advanced tools and processes. This short-term position provides the opportunity to contribute directly to evolving how cross-functional teams operate.

Location: Remote - Newbury Park, CA

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 2 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $25/$28 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Project manage the development and rollout of a new digital application
Organize and document user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
Facilitate effective meetings and engage with product owners to define user stories
Create change management communications, training materials, and adoption resources
Develop onboarding and upskilling assets for project management processes
Utilize AI and digital technologies to optimize workflows
Support the evolution of digital transformation and ways of working across teams

Required Experience & Skills

Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies and Jira
Demonstrated ability to develop training materials and digital processes (PDFs, videos, etc.)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

5 or more years of direct experience in Project Management
5 or more years of Agile or Jira experience

Top 3 Must Have Skills

1. 5+ years of project management experience

2. 5+ years of Agile or Jira experience

3. Ability to create training materials or digital processes (PDFs, videos, etc.)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the PDT Runway Product Team
Develop change management assets to drive tool and process adoption
Build learning and onboarding resources for project management upskilling

Basic Qualifications

Associate degree and 2 years of experience
2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience
High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience
