We are seeking an Adult Outpatient Therapist to provide mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment to adults and families. The ideal candidate will have a relevant master's degree, Michigan state licensure, and experience working with individuals experiencing mental health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake evaluations and assess clients' mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy.
- Develop person-centered treatment plans and document client progress.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, families, and other service providers.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and complete discharge planning.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
- Complete required training and follow professional ethical standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Applicable Michigan license or limited license: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, or TLLP.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with or treating individuals diagnosed with mental illness; internship or fieldwork experience may count.
- Must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with diverse populations.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
