Manufacturing Operations Manager

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager in Whitsett, NC. This role is responsible for production performance, team leadership, continuous improvement, cost management, quality, safety, and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and safety goals.
• Manage and develop managers, supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production teams.
• Optimize staffing, equipment, materials, and resources to improve productivity and throughput.
• Lead operations involving complex assembly, systems integration, testing, and product configuration.
• Establish and monitor KPIs including OEE, yield, quality, productivity, delivery, labor efficiency, inventory, and cost.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvements to reduce waste, improve quality, and lower costs.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Finance, and Program Management.
• Support NPI, product launches, manufacturing readiness, and capacity expansion.
• Manage operational budgets, resource planning, forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EHS, quality, and company requirements.
• Communicate operational performance, risks, and priorities to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading large teams in complex, high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience with server manufacturing, enterprise hardware, data center equipment, or comparable technology manufacturing.
• Experience with complex assembly, systems integration, manufacturing testing, or product configuration.
• Proven success improving productivity, quality, throughput, and cost performance.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or related advanced degree.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence certification.
• Experience with server manufacturing, rack integration, enterprise computing, or data center infrastructure.
• DWC or similar Lenovo ISG manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with NPI and manufacturing readiness.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, MES, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning
