Position Summary:
The School Registrar is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete student records throughout the student lifecycle, from enrollment to graduation. This role ensures the integrity of academic data, supports compliance requirements, and works closely with counselors, faculty, and administration to manage student information, transcripts, and graduation eligibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update student records from pre-enrollment through active enrollment and graduation.
  • Ensure all required student documents are collected, verified, and properly filed.
  • Manage student enrollment status , including new admissions, transfers, withdrawals, and re-enrollments.
  • Oversee and maintain academic records , including grades, transcripts, report cards, and attendance.
  • Perform graduation audits to verify that students meet all credit and program requirements.
  • Collaborate with School Counselors on course planning, credit tracking, and student progress.
  • Maintain and ensure data accuracy within the Blackbaud Student Information System .
  • Manage course coding, credit allocation, grading structures, and transcript formatting.
  • Generate and distribute official documents such as transcripts, report cards, and enrollment verifications.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and applicable educational regulations regarding student records.
  • Organize and maintain student files, both digital and physical, in accordance with audit and compliance standards.
  • Support internal reporting and provide data as needed for school administration.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the school.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Registrar experience in high school/university setting is required.
  • Familiarity with student information systems; experience with Blackbaud is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of academic records management, including transcripts, credits, and graduation requirements.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling sensitive data.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced school environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
