About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead and manage all new restaurant construction, remodels, and capital projects for its rapidly expanding franchise system. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a scalable construction strategy to support aggressive unit growth, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with brand standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing site development, permitting, bidding, budgeting, and construction execution, as well as managing internal and external construction teams and enforcing design guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with various departments to align construction with company goals, leading the budget process, and driving a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in construction management, with a preference for those with a background in QSR, franchise, or multi-unit retail environments. The role requires a proven track record of delivering multi-site projects successfully, a deep understanding of construction permitting and regulatory requirements in multiple states, and strong leadership and vendor management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to travel frequently to job sites across the country and is preferred to hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating construction risks, as well as the ability to establish KPIs and reporting dashboards to monitor project performance.
