Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled and committed Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to perform medical evaluations for veterans. This position is solely focused on independent assessments and does not include treatment responsibilities. You will be tasked with reviewing medical histories, conducting thorough evaluations, and filling out VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure online platform. These evaluations will aid the VA in making informed disability decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and interpret veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Carry out detailed, non-treating evaluations of veterans to document their current health status.
• Complete and submit DBQs using VA-specific templates to ensure all pertinent medical information is captured.
• Guarantee that all DBQs are comprehensive, precise, and submitted within 24 hours following the assessment.
• Evaluate up to four veterans each day.

Schedule: One day per month or two half days every other week.

Compensation: Daily rate ranging from $1,200 to $1,400, based on experience.

Requirements:

• Current MD or DO license with a focus on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered.
• Excellent typing skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.
