Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students across the Houston Metro area as a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Exciting maternity leave coverage roles are anticipated to begin in early 2027 at campuses throughout south, west, east, and southwest Houston. Whether you thrive in elementary or middle school environments, you'll play a vital part in the educational journey of young learners.

Your ability to travel between campus assignments is essential—each location has unique needs and start dates, offering you the chance to make a direct impact across multiple school communities. Detailed commute planning is critical due to the scope and size of the district; reliable transportation and comfort with local travel are musts.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold an active Texas SLPA license (licensure documentation required at submission)
• Demonstrated history of school-based experience in a similar SLPA or SLP position
• Proven reliability and commitment to commuting within the assigned campuses
• Fully available for on-site work; remote work is not offered for these openings
• Strong collaborative and communication skills with educators, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students per IEP recommendations
• Work closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and educational teams
• Support documentation, progress monitoring, and implementation of therapy strategies
• Foster constructive and positive interactions with students of various age groups

Assignment locations include Mading ES/Lockhart ES (South Houston), Westbriar MS/Revere MS (West Houston), Kolter ES (Southwest), and Sanchez ES/Southmayd ES (East/Southeast Houston), with start dates in January, February, and March 2027.
