This locum role involves treating patients of all ages across inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by ED physicians and RNs. Candidates will provide care during scheduled shifts from 12:00 to 22:00 on 09/05–09/07 and 09/12–09/13, with onsite orientation one day prior to the first shift. Flexibility for additional dates in the future may be available. Opportunity Highlights Location: Hancock, Michigan Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locum Tenens Coverage Dates: 09/05–09/07 and 09/12–09/13 Shift Schedule: 12:00 to 22:00 Support Staff: ED physicians and ED RNs Patient Volume: Approximately 36 patients per day Care Settings: Inpatient and outpatient EMR System: Meditech Onsite Orientation: One day prior to first shift Travel and lodging support available if needed Credentialing: Approximately 30 days; temporary privileges granted Practice Environment This role is based in a hospital emergency department located in Hancock, MI, offering both inpatient and outpatient care environments supported by Meditech EMR. The hospital setting provides robust ED resources with a dedicated team including physicians and nursing staff.
