Assembler - 1st Shift

Assembler


Purpose: Perform assembly, packaging, shipping functions, and operate machines and equipment to fabricate parts for assembly, and sub-assembly of parts. Complete required paperwork.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing assembly, sub-assembly, inspection, and packaging duties to assemble and ship medical devices following company policies and procedures.
• Operate machine set up with defined adjustments and notify supervisor of any problems
• Load/unload parts and cut/trim parts using established procedures and tools
• Inspect parts - visual and using basic gages (go/no go)
• Complete required paperwork, including labels, production logs, process results records, etc.
• Sustain and maintain organizational and cleanliness standards
• Complete material handling duties as needed to support production

Qualifications:

• Preferred 1 year manufacturing experience
• Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours at a time
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate for this position is $17.90/hour. The hourly pay rate is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
