Bilingual Medical Assistant | Clermont, FL | $19-$23/hour | Temp-Perm We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is a safety-sensitive role responsible for both administrative and clinical support, reporting directly to the Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be a team player who provides exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative environment. Primary Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for provider exams, collecting detailed history and vitals Document all information accurately in the EMR system Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures Administer medications (oral and injectable) and assist with in-office procedures Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, pulse oximetry, peak flow, inhalation treatments) Draw blood and process lab specimens for in-office or send-out labs Maintain sterilization and cleanliness of instruments and exam rooms Handle front desk operations: answering phones, appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out Provide patient education as instructed by the provider Assist with medication management, referrals, and care coordination Monitor and order medical supplies, office medications, and inventory Support onboarding and training of new team members Participate in phone-based outreach (medication & appointment reminders, transitional care calls) Assist in maintaining patient medical records in compliance with policies and regulations Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (RMA or CMA preferred) Bilingual in English and Spanish required Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant Basic knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and medical coding Phlebotomy and IV start experience preferred Strong computer skills; experience with EMR systems Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Current CPR certification preferred TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER See the great things people are saying by checking out our Google reviews, along with our Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter. * Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
* Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
* Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
* Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients.
* Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
* Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
* Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures.
* Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms.
* Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
* Change dressings on wounds.
