As a valued member of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide physical therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students, collaborating with educators, families, and other therapists to maximize results. You will enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, with opportunities to grow your expertise in a dynamic setting.
Qualifications:
- Active New York Physical Therapy license (PT – New York)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct PT services to preschool and school-aged students, fostering mobility and participation
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure coordinated support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
This contract position offers 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a start date as soon as possible and continuing through late June 2027. You’ll be working on a dynamic caseload and making a tangible difference every day.
