Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license in New York
• Previous experience working within schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and progress tracking

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to preschool and school-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs targeting gross motor and functional mobility skills
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and effectively communicate student progress to families and staff
• Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other related service providers to ensure a comprehensive care approach
• Plan and adapt sessions based on student progress and needs across a 35-hour, 5-day work week
