Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of New York (PT – New York)
• Proven experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate the physical therapy needs of students within the preschool and school-aged population
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to support each student’s educational and functional goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide detailed reports as needed
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy strategies in the classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to ensure students receive appropriate support
• Adapt interventions to deliver services that promote mobility, independence, and participation in school activities
