Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Active New York Physical Therapist (PT) license is required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings preferred
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload spanning preschool and school-age populations

Role & Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and set appropriate goals in partnership with educators and caregivers
• Track and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize student potential
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student supports
• Support teachers and staff with strategies and accommodations to facilitate student success in the classroom
