Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule

3x12-hour day shifts; weekends included in schedule.

Assignment Details

Patient ratio: 1:6; maximum census of 20.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Travel experience required.
• Telemetry / Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Core clinical skills include telemetry monitoring, IV starts, phlebotomy, feeding tube care, ostomy care, wound care, and blood product administration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Compliance / Notes

State or Compact RN license must be valid at the time of submission. Onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
