Patients per shift: 6-7
Beds in department: 15 bassinets
EMR: Cerner
RN support staff: 2

Responsibilities

Perform admissions
Conduct inpatient rounding on newborns
Perform Circumcision procedure

Coverage from November 21 to November 30
Coverage from December 21 to December 31
24-hour beeper call, 7am-7am
Call response xihmbke time required: 30 minutes
Call ratio: 1:1
Phone consults: 1-2
Rounding should average approximately 2 hours per shift based on volume
Anticipated call back is minimal
