Specialty Representative, Gastroenterology - Jackson, MS

Field-based specialty sales role focused on gastroenterology products in the Jackson, MS region. The position involves executing brand strategy, managing territory accounts, and driving sales performance while building customer relationships and maintaining clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales strategy, deliver brand KPIs and financial targets, and manage assigned territory to maximize performance
• Develop and execute call plans with SMART objectives, handle objections, and achieve call metrics for key accounts
• Build and maintain customer relationships by proactively addressing customer needs and solving business challenges
• Gather and share market intelligence on competitor activity, territory dynamics, and disease state trends with internal teams
• Identify and develop disease state experts and speaker advocates to differentiate value proposition and drive brand performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years equivalent industry experience with 3+ years in pharmaceutical/health sector
• Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales with strong presentation and objection-handling skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience with increasing responsibility at district, region, or organizational levels
• In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes in assigned area
• Valid driver's license, ability to pass drug screening, and meet HCIR credentialing requirements for facility access
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and proficiency with business tools and matrix environments
