As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in New Port Richey, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring, reliable team that puts people first, acts with integrity, and delivers innovative service through teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry as directed, maintaining awareness of activities involving staff, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents, observations, and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
