Production Line Worker

A Produce (Fresh Cut Vegetables) Production Line Worker is responsible for operating machinery and performing manual tasks involved in the processing and packaging of fresh, cut vegetables. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating machinery: Operate various equipment, such as cutters, slicers, peelers, and packaging machines, to process vegetables according to specifications.
• Manual tasks: Perform manual tasks, including washing, trimming, and inspecting vegetables for quality.
• Packaging: Package processed vegetables into containers, ensuring accurate labeling, weight, and counts.
• Quality control: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Cleaning and sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Safety: Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.

Work Environment

• Primarily in a food processing plant, which is cold (36 to 45 degrees), noisy, and humid.
• May involve exposure to chemicals and allergens.
