Human Resources Specialist provide service to team members in the community that enable them to function at the highest possible level. This service includes:
- Assist employees with password resets and account/application set up
- Assist in employee retention efforts
- Back up payroll
- Assist in new hire orientation activities (drug screen, TB test, orientation date, etc.)
- Organizes customer service training (WE CARE)
- Assist in reviewing applications/resumes
- Maintains the HRIS database and generates requested reports to assist management.
- Maintains team member files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Assists in planning team member appreciation and recognition events.
- Able to speak and understand English.
- Spanish language knowledge a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with residents, family members and staff.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft platform.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Genuine interest in working with older adults.
