Postdoctoral Associate in African American and African Diaspora Literary Studies Salary: $60,000 per year. The Department of English invites applications for the Cheryl A. Wall Postdoctoral Associate in African American and African Diaspora Literary Studies. Applicants who are pursuing research in these fields, especially those engaged in black feminist critical approaches to literary and cultural study or scholarship intersecting with African American poetics, black ecologies, performance studies, sound studies, black queer studies, or the black radical tradition, are especially encouraged to apply. The fellowship position may be renewed for a second year and includes an annual salary of $60,000 and health benefits. The recipient will teach one course per academic year, serve as an informal mentor to graduate students, and participate in the intellectual life of the department.
