Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities to identify their specific needs and set achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing various modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress closely, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary based on individual responses and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with individuals recovering from orthopedic issues, stroke, post-surgical rehabilitation, and injuries, ranging from elderly patients to middle-aged adults. Our patients are often highly motivated to regain independence and improve their functional abilities, making your expertise critical in guiding their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Valid and active New York State Physical Therapist License is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (MSPT or DPT preferred).
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with developing and implementing treatment plans for a diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
