Rutgers School of Public Health (SPH) is seeking a Program Coordinator in the Department of Urban and Global Public Health located in Newark, NJ. Under the direction of Principal Investigator, this position will support multiple NIH-funded research projects focused on health and wellness among sexual and gender minorities, with a particular focus on research within communities of color. Duties include: overseeing the implementation of a daily survey study, overseeing implementation of an annual survey among Black youth communities, coordinating with staff at community-based organizations to meet goals for recruitment and data collection, and coordinating state policy coding.

Mid Range Salary - 78208.000

Maximum Salary - 92772.000

Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Bachelor's degree preferably in Public Health or a related field plus Three (3) years of relevant work experience, OR a Master's degree preferably in Public Health or a related field plus One (1) year of relevant work experience. Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement. Experience with basic MS Office software.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Statistical Computing Programs (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS). Excellent written and interpersonal communication. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with completing demands from team members. CITI Human Subjects Research Certification Experience with human subjects Institutional Review Board protocols Experience with Electronic data collection platforms (e.g., Qualtrics).
