What You'll Do

• Administer chemotherapy and other hematology/oncology medications independently and safely
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias
• Manage IV therapies, central lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration
• Provide comprehensive patient care to adults and geriatric oncology patients, including newly diagnosed leukemia cases
• Follow strict infection prevention and patient fall prevention protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

What You Need

Required:

• Active Ohio RN license; Chemo Certification (ONS)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years' overall nursing experience with inpatient hematology/oncology, including chemo administration
• Proficiency in MS Office and telemetry monitoring

• NIHSS certification
• Experience with infection control and patient safety protocols

The unit handles complex cases involving blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolytes, maintaining a focus on infection prevention and patient safety.
