What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and oversee the submission quality-control process, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate, and ready for carrier review
• Manage day-to-day quoting and marketing workflows across multiple insurance carriers
• Monitor submission activity, identify gaps, and ensure the team is following established processes
• Maintain accurate CRM and agency management system records, including quote, submission, and policy activity
• Prepare weekly production reports and scorecards, identify trends, and provide feedback to leadership
• Manage renewal submission workflows and coordinate with account management and underwriters to obtain required information
• Serve as a key resource for producers and service team members on carrier requirements and submission standards
• Train, mentor, and onboard Marketing Assistants and support team members
• Identify recurring workflow issues and recommend process improvements to leadership
• Help develop and maintain SOPs and ensure the team follows current procedures
• Build and maintain professional relationships with insurance carriers and underwriting representatives
• Monitor carrier appetite, market changes, and emerging opportunities within commercial insurance

What We’re Looking For

✅ 2–4+ years of experience in insurance marketing, CSR, underwriting support, or a related insurance role

✅ Experience with commercial insurance , ideally within trucking, transportation, or similar commercial lines

✅ Working knowledge of an AMS, CRM, and insurance rating platforms

✅ Strong understanding of insurance submissions, quoting, renewals, and carrier requirements

✅ Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage processes from start to finish

✅ Experience training, mentoring, or supporting other team members

✅ Strong communication skills with the confidence to work directly with underwriters, carriers, producers, and internal teams

✅ Someone who can identify inefficiencies, take ownership, and proactively recommend solutions
