Job Overview SB Energy is a leading company backed by SoftBank and Ares focused on reliable, affordable energy. The Controls / Security / Network / Compute Lead will oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of critical technology systems for large‑scale data center construction projects. Responsibilities Lead planning, design coordination, and execution of Building Management Systems (BMS) / Controls. Lead planning, design coordination, and execution of Physical Security Systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection). Lead planning, design coordination, and execution of Network infrastructure (structured cabling, fiber, switching). Lead planning, design coordination, and execution of Compute environments and white space readiness. Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology systems during design and construction phases. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including design engineers, general contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders. Review and validate design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project and operational requirements. Manage vendors and subcontractors responsible for controls, security, and IT infrastructure installations. Oversee installation quality, integration, and system interoperability across all platforms. Drive commissioning activities, including testing, validation, and turnover documentation. Identify and mitigate risks related to system integration, schedule, and performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and client specifications. Support project schedules, budgets, and reporting for all scoped systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in data center construction, critical infrastructure, or mission‑critical environments. Strong experience with BMS / EPMS / controls systems. Strong experience with physical security systems (Lenel, Genetec, etc.). Strong experience with structured cabling and network infrastructure. Strong experience with data center IT/compute environments. Proven experience managing vendors and coordinating across multiple disciplines. Familiarity with commissioning processes and system integration in mission‑critical environments. Strong understanding of data center design standards and best practices. Location & Compensation On‑site in Piketon, OH. Base pay $115,000–$165,000 (guideline). Total compensation may include discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.
