Production Control Officer (Expanding Plant)

This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.Your JobLead the planning and coordination of material procurement, production scheduling, and shipping to ensure smooth, cost-effective manufacturing operations and timely delivery.Our TeamYou will work closely with various related departments within the company and other entities, collaborating to align supply chain activities and resolve risks. This role is part of the DSS division, reporting to the Supply Planning Supervisor.What You Will DoConfirm shipping demand using ERP data and initiate material purchase requests to meet production needs.Develop production plans from ERP input and issue production orders to manufacturing teams.Monitor material schedules and dispatch approved production plans to operations for execution.Optimize production order sequencing to minimize changeovers and setup times, enhancing efficiency.Collaborate with network supply planners to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.Take approved actions to ensure adequate capacity and align production with supply plans.Arrange and update delivery schedules, performing gap analysis between supply plans and manufacturing output.Provide insights into supply chain volatility drivers and supply status updates (on track, off track, trending).Support material handling control processes to maintain smooth operations.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)University degree, preferably in economics or a related field.Solid understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and production capacity planning.Proficient in using ERP systems and Office 365 applications.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a responsible and proactive mindset.Analytical thinker with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Fluent in English (oral and written).What Will Put You AheadExperience in warehouse management.Ability to speak Chinese.Initiative to bring forward ideas for continuous improvement.
