Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ICU patients in MICU and related units; monitor, assess, and intervene per ICU standards
• Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs and hemodynamic data, manage medications and therapies, respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary team to execute care plans
• Float to ICU units with staffing needs as assigned; ensure safety, comfort, pain control, and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Maintain current knowledge of critical care practices and comply with BLS/ACLS policies

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• ICU acute care experience, minimum 2 years
• Ability to work in ICU settings and float across MICU/SICU/related units as needed
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends
