Primary Responsibilities:Reviewing daily and monthly estimate and final fund NAVs.Preparing and reviewing capital calls and distributions allocationsAssist in tracking investment cost and monitoring the fair value of the investmentsPreparation and oversight of quarterly NAV and portfolio reconciliation process; investigating and resolving discrepancies with internal operations teamsCalculating management fees, distributions, waterfall allocations, and IRRPreparing and reviewing fund forecasts, performance estimates, attributions, and other ad-hoc projectsAssisting in review of investor statements and internal reportingCoordinating with external auditors for the year-end audit processOverseeing and reviewing the work of the offshore teamQualifications:Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, proactive, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have:BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance3+ years of fund, audit, or administrator experience / 3+ years of public or private accounting experienceExperience in private equity and / or hedge funds and / or audit preferredKnowledge of SEC / relevant regulatory filings for investment funds preferredCPA preferredStrong Excel skills preferredExcellent analytical, technical, and communication skillsAble to multi-task and effectively manage their own time.A collaborative team player, always willing to assist colleagues.The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
